Super Moon for Super Heroes

Dani had been searching half the day for somewhere safe she and Jesse could go to try and find his 'anchor' without having Andrew worry too much about them. Not that he would be worrying about anything once Peter Hale helped him restrain himself for the night. But still, he tended to kick up a fuss about Dani running off with Jesse on wolf nights.

She was far too brave for her own good at times.

But she had found a good place. A cleaned up old den with a shack near it out in the woods. Somewhere she could barricade herself into if she really needed to. She didn't think she would. She was far too confident that Jesse wasn't going to hurt her. Not because she believed she was his true love or something like that, but because Jesse was practically a super hero. He just hadn't realized it yet.

"Hey, Hot Stuff. How's it howling."

He really couldn't say anything about how people measured; he usually gauged distance in relative minutes or so. Miles seemed so finite, so Jesse thought minutes seemed easier to digest.

Bundle of nerves doesn't describe him accurately. He's freaked. It was already getting dark enough outside, and he's nowhere near enough in control of himself to think that this was a good idea. This had bad idea written all over it, but life around these parts seemed to be a series of bad idea, so what was adding one more to the list?

"Right, camping." He tries to smile, but it doesn't come out as happy as it should. "Except for the fact that I could potentially kill you. No big deal."

At least she believes in him more than he believes in himself. He's seen the destructive nature of a werewolf. It terrifies him to see it every month, especially now in himself. But he doesn't want to let her down. If she thinks he can get a handle on it, then he should be able to.

He wraps his arms around her, giving the top of her head a kiss. It's not much, but her words help.

He follows her line of sight, nodding slowly. "Let's get going. Moon's coming."
